MANILA, Philippines – The Finix Corporation reinforces its position as a leader in the fitness industry with two important awards the company received from Precor, one of the world’s leading fitness equipment manufacturers preferred by fitness facilities, hotels and individual exercisers in over 90 countries.

The awards, Best in Marketing and Best in Service, were given by  Precor Asia-Pacific to The Finix Corporation team, who attended the International Health and Racquet Sports Association’s (IHRSA) 34th Annual International Convention & Trade Show, a world-class exhibition  of  health and fitness products and services  from over 70 countries. It was held last March at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, California.

IHRSA is a trade association serving the global health club and fitness industry; their mission is to propagate regular exercise and an active lifestyle for better health.

Precor Asia-Pacific recognized The Finix Corporation for its aggressive efforts in promoting not only the products and services it offers across multiple media channels, but also in putting forward the importance of health and fitness to a wider audience. In addition, it also won the Best in Service award for being the first company to implement an IPTV installation for Precor in Asia, which can be found at the Crown Tower, a six-star hotel located in the City of Dreams Manila. This project covered the entire process, from the testing to rigorous documentation and installation that are now being used as a standard at Precor.

Another highlight of the four-day trade show and convention was the Precor Annual Sales Seminar held at the Nokia Theater. The event served as the launch pad for the AMT Team Fit, a trainer-led fitness program designed for small groups of exercisers. The seminar featured ways in which gym operators, personal trainers and exercisers can maximize the AMT (Adaptive Motion Trainer), help members achieve their fitness goals, and introduce a different exercise regimen that’s never been seen before.

Also highlighted at the same event was the new Smith Machine from Precor, which made its debut at the trade exhibition and features an open walk-through design. A new Angled Leg Press, Squat Machine and Hack Squat Machine are also coming out this year.

Capping off the annual event was a dealers’ dinner at the Staples Center hosted by Hoist Fitness, which manufactures premium strength-training equipment for commercial and personal use. Hoist launched their new RS-1408 Prone Leg Curl machine, as well as the different options for their Motion Cage and other strength machines. Before the night ended, guests were treated to a live NBA game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the New York Knicks.
